Orlando Neurosurgeon Max B. Medary, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and as well as the American College of Surgeons.

Max Medary, MD, attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy prior to graduating from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed general neurosurgery training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Medary completed a research fellowship in Neurotrauma at Cornell University in New York, New York.  In addition, he completed fellowship training in T. Fukushima's Keyhole Microsurgical Techniques while at Allegheny General Hospital.

Providing a full range of neurological care, Max B. Medary, MD, Greater Orlando Neurosurgery and Spine, is proudly serving the Orlando, Central Florida communities.

Dr. Medary is seeing patients at two convenient locations in Dr. Phillips, the Sand Lake Medical Park off Sand Lake and Turkey Lake Road, and in Lake Nona at Lake Nona Village Place, located between the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club and North Lake Park.

Dr. Medary has special interest in Skull Base Tumor Surgery, such as acoustic neuromas and pituitary tumors, Complex Spine Disease and Cerebrovascular Disorders such as aneurysms and carotid stenosis.

Max Medary, MD, is also President/CEO of Greater Orlando Neurosurgery & Spine, and President and Founder of Orlando Neurosurgical Foundation, NPO. He is a participating member of the Congress of NeurosurgeryPituitary Network Association and the Acoustic Neuroma Association.

Additionally, he was voted “Best in Neurosurgery” by a consensus of his peers conducted by Orlando Magazine, for every year since 2001, listed as best in adult neurosurgery in US News & World Report, and one of the “Best Doctors in America” in a national registry.

Max B.
