New Changes for Orlando Health

Orlando Regional has changed its name to Orlando Health, in an effort to show the constant drive for the best healthcare in our community. This is only one of the many changes occurring within Orlando Health as it continues to improve healthcare programs and services as we move into the future. Included in these changes is also the renaming of Sand Lake Hospital, now known as Dr P Phillips Hospital.

Dr P Phillips Hospital has recently opened their new expansion unit, increasing the hospital's bed capacity from 150 to approximately 290 beds. With the addition of this new area, Dr Phillips Hospital has opened a new stroke center, providing immediate and comprehensive services to stroke patients of Southwest Orlando. The stroke center at Dr Phillips is recognized by all EMS transport systems as a primary stroke center. For more information on these and other items, please contact www.orlandohealth.com
